8th graders will be taking the Explore Test and Career Cruising Interest Inventory on December 1st beginning at 8:40 am. Students should eat a good breakfast before coming to school so they will do their best on the test. Student need to bring 2 pencils and wear a watch because the tests are timed.

Oct. 31st Spook Day Costume & Art Contest

Our annual spook day costume contest and parade will be on Monday, October 31st beginning at 9:30 am in the Gold gym.
There will also be a Halloween art contest. To enter the art contest students can pick up a page to color from Mrs. Rothwell. Students need to put their name and grade on the back of the page and turn it into Mrs. Rothwell by 2 PM Friday, Oct. 28th.
Prizes will be awarded for all grades for the costume and art contest.

Picture retakes for Middle School and High School student and staff will be Wednesday morning for anyone absent or needing a retake. These will be the yearbook pictures so everyone who missed the initial session needs to have their picture taken on Wednesday. Mrs. DeLong will have order forms in the office either late this afternoon or Monday morning.

Red Ribbon Drug Free Week Oct. 24th – 28th

In observance of Red Ribbon Drug Free Week, we will be having student dress up each day. Please remember dress up should be within the student dress code policy.
Monday: “Nerd Day” – Dress up like a Nerd and “Be Smart, Don’t Do Drugs”.
Tuesday: “Hippie Day”- Wear hippie clothes to say “Drugs Aren’t Groovy”.
Wednesday: “Business Day”- Wear Business Clothes to “Stay on Track to Success”.
Thursday: “Pride Day”-Wear black and gold to support the Indians and beat drugs.
Friday: “Spook Day” Wear Halloween costumes to “Scare Away Drugs”.
Take a visible stand against substance abuse.
