5th Grade Students have been hard at work!!!
In preparation for the STAAR test on April 26, we have been in full science mode reviewing. The students have been doing a combination of hands-on, group activities, and individual practice to review. Please give your child a pat on the back for his/her hard work…our effort is definitely going to pay off!!!

4th and 5th grade Reagan Elementary students are going to “shine” bright tomorrow! 5th grade will be taking Math and 4th will be taking Writing. YAY!!!

THE FINAL SCIENCE BENCHMARK WILL BE MARCH 1. THIS WILL BE ADMINISTERED JUST LIKE THE STAAR AND ALL CONTENT COVERED THIS YEAR WILL BE ON THE EXAM. PLEASE ENCOURAGE YOUR STUDENT TO KEEP UP THE HARD WORK!
New Science Curriculum!
I am so excited to announce we will be using STEMscopes in 4th and 5th grade science. It is a great curriculum developed by Rice University and will help to prepare us for the STAAR test this spring. A unique feature is that each student will be able to access their own account and do assignments online. I will be sending home parent letters tomorrow with the website and log-in information. Please let me know if you have any questions.
