Reagan Elementary School

Parents: please take advantage of the opportunity for your child to get homework help or extra practice. Every morning our teachers are available to work with your child from 7:45 to 8:05.

We want to make sure that your child has the best chance to be successful.

This week, the students at Reagan have been competing to see which class can take the most AR tests per student.

The winners are:

• Mrs. Martinez’s Class 14.1 Books/Student
• Mrs. Nelson’s Class 5.9 Books/Student

This week, there were about 1500 books read at Reagan, with 771 Points being earned!

It’s amazing how quickly this semester has gone. We have come such a long way, already. This week promises to be a busy one. This is not much different than any other week at Reagan. It seems that there are always activities that are allowing our students opportunities to get involved.

Monday – We will reward those students who put out efforts to be on the UIL teams. They will travel to Altus to watch Arthur in 3D, followed by lunch at McDonald’s.

Wednesday – 4 Hour Benchmark for Math. This will Mirror the STAAR Test and give us an idea of where our students rate.

Thursday – Christmas Program at High School. Letters will be sent home.

Friday – Early Release – 1:30 pm., Last day of Six Week and 1st Semester.

Please be sure that you continue to push your student. This week will still have instruction taking place.  If your student has low grades, they still have 1 week to get on top of those.
