Dear Parents,
We have only a few weeks left for school this year.
That means there are a lot of opportunities for you to come to school activities and share in your kids successes.

May 14 (Monday)– $1 Hat Day
May 17 (Thursday)– Barnyard Moosical – 9:00 AM – First Baptist Church auditorium
May 18 (Friday)– 8:30 AM Field Day at Indian Stadium, 6:00 PM Relay for Life (Reagan Elementary “Links for Love” lap) at courthouse, all library books must be turned in
May 22 (Tuesday)- Field trip to Copper Breaks State Park.
May 28 – NO SCHOOL (Memorial Day)
May 31 (Thursday) Terrific Thursday at the High School Auditorium
May 31 – Reagan awards presentation – 8:30 AM – QHS auditorium
June 1 – last day of school

Parents,
Tuesday the 4th Grade will travel to Crowell for an AG Day program presented by Texas Farm Bureau. They will get a lunch of hot dogs.
Please make sure your child wears shoes and not sandals.

Friday we will have Field Day at the football field.

Dear Parents, This week the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades will take STARR tests.

Make sure your student gets plenty of rest and has a good breakfast.
• Tuesday the 4th Grade will take the Math portion of the STARR
• Wednesday the 4th Grade will take the Reading portion of the STARR
• Thursday the 5th Grade will take the Science Portion of the STAAR

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday there will be no visitors allowed in the building due to test security.
I know the kids will do great.

This week and next week we will reviewing.
We are working on Geometry and spacial reasoning.
We have 2 weeks until the Math and Reading STAAR Tests.

Parents
This week we will be reviewing for the STAAR test.
The math STAAR test for 4th grade will be April 24th.
The reading STAAR will be April 25th.
There will be no school on Friday, April 6th.
We are setting plans for a field trip the fist week in May. More on that later.

Parents, This week the 4th grade will be taking the Writing portion of the STAAR TEST on Tuesday, and Wednesday. In Math we will be reviewing.

There will be no visitors allowed in the building on Tuesday and Wednesday. With so many security restrictions from the State of Texas, it is necessary to comply with their wishes. Thanks for understanding.

Deart Parents,
This week we will be working on Possible Outcomes. An example would be. If you had ham, turkey, and bologna, white bread, rye bread, and wheat bread. How many different sandwiches could you make.
We will also have a math benchmark test Tuesday, and a reading benchmark test Wednesday.

• Thursday -Six Week Test
• Friday-Go over the test
