Links of Love

Reagan Elementary students will be making a “Links of Love” chain to go around the courthouse square at this year’s Relay for Life fundraising event. Links for the chain will sell for 10 cents each, and we hope to have a moving chain of love that goes all the way around the courthouse. This money will go to the American Cancer Society to help in the fight against cancer. Teachers will sell the links in their classrooms. Students may write a name on each link, including their own name, the name of a loved one fighting cancer, one who has lost the fight against cancer, or the name of a friend, family member, or loved one. The chain will be displayed in the Reagan hallways until the day of the Relay, which is May 18. Students will walk a lap as “Reagan Kids…Links for Love” around 6:30 pm at the beginning of the ceremonies.
