It is almost time for the STAAR Reading test!! The students are working hard preparing for this test. We are busy reviewing key concepts and terms. We have been studying poetry and drama, along with Fiction and Non-Fiction. Thank you for supporting your child as we count down the days!!

On April 27, Mr. Turner will be rewarding the entire school with an AR REWARD PARTY here at Reagan! We reached our 20,000 AR POINT GOAL on Monday of this week! This party will come at a great time being it is after the STAAR Test!

This week we took the STAAR Writing test! We are all glad that we have completed that one! Reading and Math are fast approaching. They will be April 24th and 25th. We are busy preparing to the next test!! Just a few reminders, next Friday, April 6th, there will be no school. Have a safe and HAPPY EASTER! Plus, the 5th Six Weeks will be ending on April 13.

NO VISITORS ARE ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING DURING TESTING DAYS. Please, do not visit your student during these days. Next week, there will be testing Tuesday and Wednesday. Thank you.

On March 27th and 28th, 4th grade will be taking the STAAR WRITING TEST. It is a two day test. Each day they will have 4 hours. We have been working hard all year preparing for this. Please make sure your student gets a good nights rest both nights. Encourage your student to do his/her best both days. We are ready to take this test and knock it out of the park! If you have any questions, please let me know!!

On March 27th and 28th, the 4th graders will be taking the STARR Writing test. We are now 10 school days away from the test! We are busy preparing for the test and doing some last minute reviews, so we don’t forget even the little things! Please encourage your student to come to class everyday and work as hard as they can!!

WOW!! This has been a crazy, but blessed morning!! Thank you to SONIC for supporting my classroom, Reagan and the district!! It is obvious that the people in Quanah love to support their community!! I cannot believe the love and support that has poured out from Sonic for our schools If you get a chance, go by and thank them!!! They have made a HUGE difference in the way the students look at reading They enjoy it and want to do it! In my book, that is the success story!!!

This Friday is Fabulous Friday!! It will start at 8:30 in the high school auditorium. 4th grade will be performing!! We will also be recognizing those that participated in UIL! Please come and support our students!! Hope to see you there!

Thank you the the people who donated the rugs and bean bag chairs! The kids are loving them!!

I cannot believe how fast this 6 weeks has flown! This is the last week in 4th 6 Weeks! We are back in the swing of things after last weeks benchmark. Spelling Packet is due on Friday. There will be homework daily, so be sure to check the Indian Guide. As always, we are aiming for our AR Goal. Please encourage your student to read as much as possible! Reading increases our chances of doing great things in life!!

Remember, next Friday is Fabulous Friday at 8:30 in the High School Auditorium.

There will be no school on Monday.

4th Grade Benchmarks in Reading and Math will be February 28th and 29th.
