Way to Go Kids!

As I previously posted, yesterday was the last day for AR tests in Kindergarten.  We had a record breaking year with AR points.  But what I am most proud of is the way the majority of my students have become independent readers and test takers.  The only extra tests my kids took this week were all on their own. If their work was completed, they would get in a corner and read a book, then get an ipad and take a test.  I gave them no help reading.  Since I couldn’t show them all on the smilebox, I want to name the students that wanted and did test on their own.  They are:  Montana, CJ, Cutter, Marshall, Audra, Debaroh, Noah,  Hutton, and Alli.   I am proud of all my students, but love that these little guys took the extra initiative this week and were able to succeed.

  • Thank you Mrs. Folmar for teaching and encouraging our children to learn and love to read at such an early age. I remember learning to read in 2nd grade.
